Claypole decided to withdraw from the First B Women's Tournament once the first round of the championship was over. After not getting points in their first presentations and conceding 118 goals, the club decided to withdraw from the category as they were unable to sustain the sporting project.

Just a year ago, Claypole celebrated a historic achievement: after the merger with the Maestranza Workers' Union (SOMRA), the Tambero formed a competitive team that achieved promotion to the Primera B of women's soccer.
It should be noted that there was a very important part of the agreement that had to do with that epic conquest: SOMRA contributed many players to the squad, whom it employed in the union and thus paid them remuneration for that work and for playing football, a structure that we have seen in other clubs - such as in UAI Urquiza before the semi-professionalization of 2019 - and which was key to the development of the project.

However, the panorama changed completely this season. And the breakdown of that joint project forced the club to rebuild the squad to face a much more demanding category, but without the resources provided by the union.
And that was reflected in the results: in the 9 rounds that they played in the championship, Claypole failed to score points and suffered heavy defeats in each of their appearances, conceding 118 goals against. These figures expose the difficulties involved in sustaining a sports project after the loss of a structure that had been decisive in achieving promotion.

The club announced it through a brief statement on its social networks. "For economic reasons and institutional reorganization and having completed the first round, women's football will not continue participating in the Primera B tournament during the current season," they wrote and added: "The institution will continue working on the development of the project, with training, recruiting players and planning the return to AFA competitions in Primera C in 2027."
With this decision, Claypole will not compete in the second round of the championship and will leave its place vacant in the Primera B Femenina. Tambero's retirement marks a premature closure for a project that, just a season ago, had achieved the greatest sporting achievement in its history in the discipline.
