For their part, the technical duo made up of Gastón Solari and Martín Juárez expressed their pride in the collective growth and maturity of the squad.
“We are very happy. We knew it was going to be difficult. Even though we had a difference of two goals in favor, we had to play the same; there was no need to hide and that showed the team,”, they said.
The coaches also highlighted one of the key aspects of the game that made the difference in the series: “The dead ball is our strength and we were able to take advantage there.”
Solari and Juárez emphasized the seriousness and professionalism of the group they led throughout the season. “It is a very serious team, very professional, it had everything to be promoted”, they reported and added: “We had to work on it because it was a new team that was formed this year, and as the games went by we became a very tough team, which everyone found difficult to face.”
With this promotion, Luján closes a year of construction, identity and effort, consolidating a base that promises to fight in the Primera B, a category known to the Lujan team, which was part of it for many years.
