The tournament is divided into two zones of ten participants each. In this first stage, they will face each other in round-trip matches, which will give a total of 18 matches per team. After this first part, the clubs located between second and ninth place will access a Reduced Tournament. This instance will be played in a knockout format, with matches defined according to the position in the table. As far as promotions are concerned, there will be four places available to move up to the top category. The teams that finish in first position in each zone will obtain direct promotion and then will play a final to determine the champion of the competition. For their part, the other two promotions will come from the Reduced Tournament mentioned above, two teams that will achieve promotion. In the lower zone, the teams that finish in last place in each zone will lose their category and will be relegated to the First C. With the fixture confirmed, the First Women's B 2026 is shaping up to be a highly contested championship, with several candidate teams and clear objectives both in the fight for promotion and in the fight to maintain the category.
