On Saturday the second leg of the final for theFirst B Women's Tournament 2025 was played in Valentín Alsina, where Unión beat Lanús, became champion and, in addition, won the first promotion to the highest category.

In the first leg, the Santa Fe team had won by the minimum and in the second leg the result was once again 1-0 in their favor, with a goal from Pilar Mateo, sealing a 2-0 aggregate.

The Santa Fe team, which had a solid campaign in this tournament, won with authority the first final at its home, the 15 de Abril stadium, and on Saturday made history in the south of the province of Buenos Aires, beating the local team not only on the scoreboard, but also in the game.
With associated football, clear ideas, outstanding individualities and that “champion luck” that usually accompanies great teams, Unión wrote a golden page in the history of its women's football.
On the side of Lanús, they still have a chance of promotion, since they will join in the semi-finals of the Reduced for the second promotion to the highest category, with the dream of returning to First Division intact.
