Group B
- Belgrano
- Corinthians
- University
- Independiente del Valle
The draw determined that Belgrano shares an area with a very strong team from Brazil such as Palmeiras, which managed to stay with the Libertadores in 2022 precisely in Quito, after beating Boca in the final.
For their part, the Pirates will also have to face Universitario, from Peru, who will play their sixth edition of the competition, although they never managed to pass the group stage.
The third team that the Córdoba team will have to face will be the local team, Independiente del Valle. The Dragonas, one of the most important women's teams in Ecuador, will play their third edition of the Libertadores, with the quarterfinals being their highest mark, achieved last year in Argentina.
For its part, the Córdoba team earned its place in the competition after becoming champion of the 2025 Champions Trophy and will compete for the first time on the international stage, while in the current Clausura Tournament it is second with 16 units in 8 games played.
Now, with the group defined, the objective will be to transfer the work done during the season to the continental tournament and achieve results that allow them to advance to the next phase.
The competition will not give room to relax: each point can be decisive and regularity will be essential to reach the last date with a chance of qualifying.
Format of the Women's Libertadores 2026
The 2026 edition of the Libertadores Femenina, the 18th in history, will be held in Ecuador, from October 15 to 31. The tournament will feature 16 teams from 10 countries, distributed into four groups of four clubs each.
Brazil will have the most representatives, with three clubs. For their part, Ecuador, Colombia, Chile and Paraguay will have two representatives each, while Argentina, Venezuela, Uruguay, Peru and Bolivia will have only one.
During the preliminary phase, each team will play three games, one against each rival in its zone. The best two from each group will advance to the quarterfinals, where the direct elimination stage will begin.
All phases will be played in a single round of matches, so each match will have a special value in the fight to advance.
