This weekend the AFA Women's Youth Tournaments begin in its three categories: Under 19, Under 16 and Under 14.

This March 22 the AFA Women's Youth Tournaments will begin in their three categories, Under 19, Under 16 and Under 14 and we will tell you how Date 1 will take place.

The teams that will be part of each of the tournaments will be the 16 that compete in the First Division plus five guests from the First B and the system will be a single round against all, with the champion being the one who takes first place in the table.

Dates of the AFA Women's Youth Tournaments 2026

Although the complete fixture of each of the Tournaments has not yet been announced, the dates on which each of the days will take place have been published.

  • March: 22 and 29

  • April: 26

  • May: 03, 10, 17, 24 and 31

  • June: 14 and 28

  • July: 05, 12 and 19

  • August: 16, 23 and 30

  • September: 06, 13, 20 and 27

  • October: 04

Dispute system for the 2026 AFA Women's Youth Tournaments

It will be a tournament where everyone will face each other, in a single round of matches, local and away, by points, according to the draw carried out.

The club that obtains 1st Place in the Final Table of Positions, by Category (Under 19, Under 16 and Under 14), will be declared Champion of the 2026 Championship. In the case of a tie in points between two or more teams, the provisions of art. 111 of the AFA General Regulations, which establishes the holding of a tiebreaker match.

In the event of a tie in points between two or more teams, in any of the remaining positions, the provisions of art. 112 of the aforementioned Regulations, which establishes the following tie-breaking criteria in order of hierarchy: greatest goal difference, greatest number of goals scored and then result between those tied.

For its part, regarding the participation of female players it was established:

  • Under 14 Category: the minimum number of players to register will be 20 and the maximum will be 30, whose minimum age will be 12 years and the maximum 14 years old by 12/31/2026.
  • Under 16 Category: the minimum number of players to register will be 20 and the maximum will be 30, whose minimum age will be 13 years and the maximum 16 years old by 12/31/2026.
  • Under 19 Category: the minimum number of players to register will be 20 and the maximum will be 30, whose minimum age will be 14 years and the maximum will be 19 years old by 12/31/2026. A maximum of three (3) players from the 1st Good Faith list may register. Category, who are no more than 20 years old as of 12-31-2026 (Category 2006).
