River Plate became champion of the CONMEBOL Evolution Sub-16 Party after beating Stars Rush, from Bolivia, 4-0, at the Olympic Park in Asunción, Paraguay.
The team led by Stefanía Fontán had gone to the grand final after beating Independiente del Valle de Ecuador on penalties after drawing 1-1, however in the final match the difference was extremely large.

In addition to becoming champions, the Millonarias had already achieved another important objective by qualifying for the final: they will play in an international tournament to be held in Madrid, since the two finalists of the competition obtain the ticket to represent the continent in Europe.
