Platense beat Vélez 4-1 on matchday 11 and won the first AFA Under 12 Women's Tournament in history.
The El Calamar match and the Independiente and Banfield matches, the other teams with a chance of winning, were played at the Lionel Andrés Messi Premises, in Ezeiza, at the same time and were attended by Germán Portanova, coach of the Argentine National Team, and Claudio Chiqui Tapia, president of the AFA.

Platense reached this last date with 20 points, one more than Independiente, which had 19, and two more than Banfield, third in the table and the last team with mathematical chances of consecration.

As the regulations provide, there could have been more than one champion in case of equality in points. However, the Calamares did not give the rest of the teams room to get excited: despite the fact that Independiente thrashed San Lorenzo and Banfiel did the same against UAI Urquiza, Saavedra's team was the only champion with 23 points out of 30 in dispute, after an impressive campaign in which they only lost one game, against Taladro, and conceded just three goals.
This is how the first Under 12 Women's Tournament in the history of AFA closed, with a spectacular setting at the Lionel Andrés Messi Premises, with family and friends accompanying the little ones and with triple live broadcast on LPF Play. This time, Platense made history.
