This Monday night the second day of the group stage of the Conmebol Libertadores 2025 ended. This day saw the first victories for the Argentine representatives, Boca and San Lorenzo, who had not been able to add three in their debuts.

As for the date, it started with the defeat of the last champions, Corinthians, against Always Ready 11-0. That same afternoon, at the Nuevo Francisco Urbano, Independiente del Valle beat Independiente de Santa Fe 1-0 and thus, Group A is already outlining its qualifiers: by goal difference, the leaders are the Brazilians and the Ecuadorians follow them.
For its part, Boca had a better performance than on the first date and, at the Florencio Sola stadium, with goals from Carolina Troncoso and Lola Ruffini, they beat Addifem, from Venezuela, 2-0, and thus obtained their first victory in this edition of the tournament.
On the other hand, Ferroviária won again, this time by 2 to 1 against Alianza Lima, and this Wednesday Boca will have a key challenge against the Brazilians to advance to the final phase.
San Lorenzo also had a new lease of life: with a goal in the last minute by Ichika Egashira, San Lorenzo's first in its return to the international tournament, Franco Bertera's team beat Olimpia of Paraguay, which had just debuted with a defeat against Colo-Colo. The Chileans won again, this time against São Paulo, and are first in Group C.
Finally, in Group D parity was broken with the victory of Deportivo Cali against Nacional of Uruguay and thus the Colombians are, for now, the leaders of the table.
For their part, Libertad and U de Chile tied without goals, but the point of equality helped them to be one place above the Uruguayans, the only ones in the group who have lost so far.
The last date of the group stage will begin to be played on Wednesday, at 4:00 p.m., when Boca meets Ferroviária on the Banfield field, and will end on Thursday with the match between San Lorenzo and Colo-Colo, which will be played from 8 p.m. at the Nuevo Francisco Urbano.
