The Apertura 2026 Tournament of the First Division Women will begin on the weekend of March 15 and, to make the wait lighter, five clubs organized the Summer Cup 2026, a friendly competition that already had its Winter and Spring editions.
The clubs that will participate in this edition will be SAT, champion of the Winter Cup, Racing, champion of the Spring edition, River, Banfield and Boca.
The first matches will take place at the end of January 31 and the format will be similar to that of the winter and spring editions: all against all in a single round on five dates that will be played on consecutive weekends. Each date one team will have a free time, so each team will play a total of four games.
The winner of the 2026 Summer Cup will be the team that scores the most points at the end of the competition. In case of equality of points, the following tie-breaking criteria will be applied: greater goal difference, firstly, greater number of goals in favor, in case the first criterion is equal, and then result of the match between the teams involved.
Important information: all matches will be broadcast on the YouTube channel of the local team.
