Activity continues in the Second Women's First Division Tournament 2025. Everything you need to know to follow date 5.

This weekend begins date 5 of the Second First Division Women's Tournament 2025. The match that will open the day will be Gimnasia and San Lorenzo, which will be played this Friday from 3:30 p.m. in Estancia Chica, in Zone B.

Later, at 7:10 p.m., Talleres, the only leader of the group, will receive River at the La Boutique Stadium, in Córdoba, in a promising match: if they win, the T will ensure they remain at the top, but if they lose, it will be the Millonarias who will see the rest of the teams from above.

For its part, among the most important matches in Zone A is the match between Belgrano and SAT, on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.: the two teams that, with seven points, escort Boca at the top of the table.

Further down in the positions, Platense and Independiente will meet on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. with the need to add to get out of the last places. The latter will be one of the matches broadcast by the Professional Football League.

In Zone B, in addition to the great game between Talleres and River, another promising match will be played: on Monday at 11, in the Olympic Village, Vélez will host Racing. The Fortineras have to win to avoid being among the last teams in the Zone while the Academy needs to add three if they want to continue with a chance of being among the first in the group. This match will be broadcast by TNT Sports.

At the same time and on the same day Rosario Central will receive Banfield at the Cristalería Premises. El Taladro will seek to return to victory after a loss at home against Talleres while Las Canallas also want to raise their heads and take the lead after a defeat in Avellaneda.

All the matches on this date can change the standings, which shows how even the Second First Division Women's Tournament is, which has just three dates left in the initial phase and anything can happen.
