After Argentina's triumph against Chile, Aldana Cometti highlighted the role of the Brazilian players who raised their voices to improve the conditions for the National Teams in the Copa América 2025.
The defender and captain of the Argentine National Team, Aldana Cometti, highlighted the role of the women's soccer leaders who raised their voices to improve the conditions of the teams in this edition of the Copa América.
The statement was made after the victory of the national team against Chile, for date 3 of Group A of the competition being held in Ecuador.

From the mixed zone, even with the pulse of the match upon him, Cometti left a reflection that transcends football and refers to the claim by the Brazilian National Team for the warm-ups. “Obviously "They have more voice, more weight and their word is worth much more because they are references of this sport," said the defender in reference to the historical players of the Brazilian National Team, who over the years have denounced inequalities and demanded decent conditions.
On this occasion, the specific claim had to do with a basic but essential aspect: the place where the teams had to warm up before the meetings.
“Thanks to them raising their voices today we were able to do part of the warm-up on the court and for us that is fundamental. Thanks to them we were also able to enjoy that,” Cometti closed, recognizing the progress made.
Her words resonate in a context in which female players continue to fight for basic rights that, in men's football, are fully guaranteed. What Cometti said not only reflects gratitude towards the pioneers of the movement, but also the continuity of a collective struggle that is still far from over.
