The FutFemGol gems from date 4 of the 2026 Apertura Tournament
Unión, Independiente and Talleres received Belgrano, Huracán and Racing in their main stadiums
Far away in time are those tournaments in which more than half of the matches were in stadiums and the clubs once again got used to women's football being played on grounds. Except for teams counted on the fingers of one hand that play home on their main fields, the Women's Apertura Tournament is being played in auxiliaries.
Fortunately on this date, Unión and Talleres reopened the doors of their stadiums, just as they did a couple of days ago, and they were joined by Independiente, which in all of last year had only played once in the Libertadores de América. Thus, the Estadio 15 de Abril, the Ricardo Enrique Bochini and La Boutique gave the grade.
Unión and Belgrano drew goalless in Santa Fe and the Tatengas added the first point in their history in the top category. Although the match ended very hot, the 15 de Abril Stadium witnessed a special equality against the current Argentine soccer champions, no less.

Huracán also made history and defeated Independiente for the first time in their Libertadores de América. Thanks to Patricia Leguizamón's goal, the third by a Globo defender so far in the championship, the Quemeras added their first victory of the Apertura Tournament and soured the party of the Diablas, who played only one game in their main stadium during the last 600 days.
Talleres and Racing had a trial by fire and the match lived up to expectations. Two of the candidates for the title, mainly due to the hierarchy of their teams, ended up delivering a very divided duel in La Boutique, with two goals from the penalty spot. First Sindy Ramírez put the Academy ahead and at the end of the confrontation that had 12 minutes added, Juana Fonseca equaled in the T.
The Clásico del Sur is back and it did not disappoint: Banfield exacerbated the worrying present of Lanús
Lanús returned to the “A” this season, after its relegation in 2023, and officially faced its eternal rival Banfield again after two and a half years.
El Granate and El Taladro had crossed paths on two occasions: in their debut campaign in the top category, Banfield thrashed the South's first classic 3-0, while in the second they tied without goals.
This time, the Valentín Alsina Premises hosted, for the first time as a venue, a classic that exceeded expectations. With partialities from both teams, Banfield beat Lanús thanks to the debut in the nets of Antonella Estigarribia - a youth player from Taladro - and the second goal of Yosneidy Zambrano in the club - his most recent reinforcement -.

Thus things were, Banfield maintained the ideal score and established itself as the only leader, confirming its encouraging present. Lanús, for its part, remains last in the Women's Apertura Tournament without points, also extending its streak of zero goals so far: together with Independiente they are the only teams that have not added points so far in the competition.
There was no Law of the Ex, but there were crosses as curious as they were striking: Damaris Martínez was a starter and faced her former team, Lanús, where she scored 5 goals during 2022. In the Granates, two figures who stood out in Banfield until recently watched the Southern classic from the bench: goalkeeper Brenda Molinas and promising forward Zoe Centurión.
Gimnasia struck the blow and beat Boca for the first time in its history with an agonizing triumph
Boca and Gimnasia had faced each other 11 times since professionalism became official, of which they tied two and the Gladiators added 9 wins. Both teams aspire to the top zone of the championship and that is why this duel at the Pedro Pompilio Complex was more than crucial.
In addition, Kishi Núñez and Eliana Stabile returned to Boca and Gimnasia from the Argentine National Team, after their active participation in the triple date of the Nations League. It was the first time that 'Zurda' visited Xeneize to face the club she represented for so many years.
Stabile ended up being the protagonist, as he took charge of a free kick that connected with Marilyn Esquivel for an agonizing and historic goal: Gimnasia beat Boca by the slightest difference and surpassed them for the first time in the semi-professional era. Lali left her signature in an epic result that validated the great moment that the Pack is going through.

Thus, Esquivel reached her teammate Florencia Gaetán, her rival Kishi Núñez and Emilse Albornos (from Unión) as top scorers in the Women's Apertura Tournament, scoring her second goal against Boca and reaching 47 goals in Gimnasia. Also, heading Stabile's cross, he helped Eliana get her first assist for Lobo.
With this result, Gimnasia reached the group of escorts of the leaders Banfield and Racing along with River and San Lorenzo with 10 points, in addition to extending their undefeated record. Boca, on the other hand, shares 8th place with Newell's, Huracán and Ferro, adding 4 units and beginning to move away from the top positions in the table.
