The Newell's players denounced through their social networks a new salary delay from the club, as had happened after they became champions.
The Newell's players made a new public claim for lack of payment, just as it had happened after they became champions of the local Tournament and the Federal Cup. “Both the players and the coaching staff have not received the salaries for September or October,” they denounced in a statement.
“The Newell’s Old Boys women’s soccer team wishes to express its deep concern regarding the lack of payment of salaries corresponding to the last two months,” they wrote in the letter that was shared on social networks and added: “Unfortunately, this is not the first time we have gone through this situation, which directly affects our working conditions and daily preparation.”
This claim by the women's team adds to the forceful measure taken by the men's team, which suspended two training sessions in advance of their match against Racing in the Professional League also due to salary debts.

It should be noted that, according to local media, work on the men's team resumed on Thursday after the intervention of the Argentine Soccer Players Association and after a promise of payment. In addition, they reported that the salary debts extend to workers in other areas of the club. For its part, the institution did not make any public clarification.
The complete statement shared by the Newell's players
The Newell's Old Boys women's football team wishes to express its deep concern regarding the non-payment of salaries corresponding to the last two months.
Both players and coaching staff have not received salaries for September or October, which is expected to be regularized next week.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time we have gone through this situation, which directly affects our working conditions and daily preparation.
We remember that the Newell's women's team is the current two-time champion of Argentine soccer, an achievement achieved with commitment, effort and professionalism, values that we hope are also reflected in the institutional management.
We ask for concrete answers and a definitive solution to the repetition of these breaches.
