La Lepra arrives beaten after losing 4-1 to San Luis, in a match where Camila Mansilla scored the only Rosario goal, while Victoria Vázquez scored a hat trick for the Puntanas. On the other hand, Lanús will make its debut in the Clausura after having closed the Apertura with a resounding victory over San Lorenzo thanks to a goal from Brenda Varela, a result that ended up being decisive in defining the championship that Racing won.
Although there is hardly any official history between the two, memory favors Newell's.
