The first semi-finalist was Racing, which beat San Lorenzo 1-0 as a visitor at the Ciudad Deportiva. The Academics entered the playoffs, placing 8th in the general table, which was made up of the qualifiers from both zones. It is worth remembering that those led by Héctor Bracamonte finished in the middle of the table in Zone B with two wins, four draws and a loss against Banfield on date 3.

On the other hand, Talleres and River crossed paths in Córdoba. The match ended zero to zero in the 90 minutes and, in the penalties, Lara Esponda was the protagonist and blocked three shots on goal for the Millonarias to advance to the next round.
Of the 12 teams classified for the playoffs, River is in 10th place with 9 points in 7 games played. In the knockout phase he left SAT and the leader of Zone B, Talleres, on the way, which makes him once again excited about becoming champion of the local tournament after almost ten years, after the 2017 title.

The third definition was between Boca and Gimnasia, in Casa Amarilla, where the Gladiadoras beat the Manada by 1 to 0. Boca is the most champion team in women's soccer in Argentina: it has accumulated 32 titles in total, 29 of them in the local league. In this championship they were, along with Belgrano, the leading team in zone A, where they finished in second place in the group table. In this second tournament they only lost against Newell’s, current Argentine soccer champion, on the first date.

The last to define his classification was Belgrano, who beat Ferro in the Gigante de Alberdi in a great match that ended in penalties and featured Agustina Sánchez, the Uruguayan goalkeeper of the Pirates.
Sánchez returned from a serious injury this year and in the definition he contained two of Ferro's shots and ended up kicking Belgrano's last penalty to seal the pass to the semis.
The Córdoba team was the great protagonist of Zone A and, in this second tournament, it remained at the top of the table and finished the leading group with 19 units, the result of 6 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss.
Next weekend these four teams will play in the semifinals with round-trip matches, where the best placed in the average table will play the second home game. Thus, Belgrano and River will meet first in Ezeiza while Boca will visit Racing at Predio Tita.
