Thedate 5 of the 2026 First Division Women's Apertura Tournament has ended and the matches left several surprises.

Independiente opened the date with a 1-0 victory against SAT, thus managing to add its first three points in this Tournament.

Gimnasia and Ferro, for their part, tied without goals at the Bosquecito Premises in a match that was for either of them.
Later, Huracán beat Unión 1-0 and in the classic of the day, Racing beat San Lorenzo 1-0 with a goal from Agostina Holzheier and went to the top of the standings.
On the same Sunday, San Luis beat Belgrano 2-0 and Boca returned to victory with a valuable 2-1 victory against Banfield at the Florencio Sola.
Another of the outstanding results of the day was the 4-0 win by Talleres against Newell's and, to close, the important 3-0 victory of River against Lanús to remain at the top of the competition together with La Academia.
