River receives Boca: the best data from the Superclásico preview

The 2026 Women's Clausura Tournament will once again cross River and Boca in a new edition of the Superclásico. The Millonarias will host the Gladiadoras on Wednesday, October 30, starting at 3 p.m. The match can be seen onLPF Play.

After the historic participation of the Argentine National Team in the 2026 Under 20 World Cup in Poland, to which River contributed four of its most important players, Núñez's club began to recover the number of games it postponed in that period.

One of them, the one corresponding to the sixth day, was nothing less than the Superclásico against Boca. In this context, this historic rivalry will have a new chapter in Ezeiza, more precisely in the River Camp.

Nicolás Loncharich's team is tenth in the championship, adding 11 points with four games less than the rest. For their part, those led by Florencia Quiñones are third with 19 units.

If Xeneize wins the Superclásico they could surpass Banfield to climb to second place in the table, only below San Luis (which has 24 units). On the other hand, the Millionaire knows that he must add three points if he does not want to lose ground in the race for the title.

Among so many outstanding figures from two of the most senior teams in our league, there will be some names to highlight and follow closely. River will seek to continue growing in this rivalry and Boca will want to regain its hegemony.

Two historical members of the Gladiators are Andrea Ojeda and Laurina Oliveros: the forward is the top scorer against the Millonarias, against whom she scored 6 goals, while the goalkeeper was a starter in the 12 official Superclásicos in the professional era.

On the other side, Mercedes Diz established herself as the local team's most lethal offensive weapon. With eight sacred shouts she is River's top scorer, and she scored the goal of the historic victory against Boca in the last championship.

But, if we talk about historical forwards, we must not ignore Mercedes Pereyra, who has just scored in the draw against Racing and already knows what it is to turn into a Superclásico: she scored in the semifinals of the Apertura 2021 and in the equality of date 3 of the First Tournament 2025.
