Boca wants to recover its authority, but S.A.T. will seek to revalidate its solid campaign
The 13th will begin with a very attractive duel at the 12 de Agosto Stadium. On Wednesday, from 11, S.A.T. will host Boca in a cross between two teams separated by just one point. The Tele is eighth with 17 units, while the Gladiators occupy seventh place with 18, so the winner will take an important step in the fight to consolidate itself in the top half of the table.
Both arrive with good results under their arms. Those led by Nicolás Basualdo defeated Banfield 1-0, thanks to Lara López's goal, and ended a streak of four games without victories, after three consecutive draws and one defeat. Florencia Quiñones' team, for its part, beat Lanús by the same result, with a goal against, and stretched its undefeated record to five games in which it achieved three wins and two draws.

Although the present marks an even development, the history reflects a completely different reality: the Gladiators won the 10 official matches played between both teams, scoring 34 goals against just six for Tele. The most recent precedent was the 2-1 at Casa Amarilla on matchday 8 of the Second 2025 Tournament, with goals from Agustina Arias and Yohana Masagli, with Gabriela Chávez's injury time.
The last crossing in the same scenario that will receive them again also favored Xeneize. On the seventh day of the 2024 Apertura Tournament, Boca won 2-0 at the Estadio 12 de Agosto thanks to goals from Camila Baccaro and Celeste Dos Santos, a result that prolonged the historic dominance over Moreno's team.

Among the soccer players to follow is Lara López, S.A.T.'s top scorer. with five goals and author of the winning goal against Banfield. The former Rosario Central will seek to beat Laurina Oliveros, who is going through an exceptional moment: she has accumulated five consecutive unbeaten goals, the longest streak of any goalkeeper in this Apertura Tournament, despite having played eight games this season in Boca.
River will receive Banfield with the obligation to win to continue fighting for the title
On the same Wednesday, simultaneously, they will face two institutions that are distinguished by the work of their lower divisions. River will host Banfield at its venue, teams that knew how to lead the championship for a good part of the competition, but arrive beaten by their most recent results. Las Millonarias occupy third place with 23 points and were six behind Racing and San Lorenzo, while Taladro is fifth with 19 points and has already run out of mathematical possibilities of fighting for the title.
River has just suffered a tough 4-2 defeat against Gimnasia. Florencia Gaetán scored a hat trick for the Triperas, while Kimberlyn Campos and Carolina Birizamberri scored for the Millonarias, who lost for the third time in their last four appearances. Banfield is not in its best moment either: it lost 1-0 against S.A.T. and accumulates four defeats in its last six games.

The record favors River, which won four of the six official matches between both teams. Banfield won on one occasion and the remaining match ended tied, with nine goals scored by the Millonarias against four by Taladro. In addition, River kept the two most recent records.
The last match was played for the first date of the Second Tournament 2025, on August 9 of last year, and ended with a 1-0 victory for the red-and-white team at the Florencio Sola thanks to a goal from Paloma Fagiano. At River Camp, the scene of the next match, the closest precedent was a few months before, in mid-March, when the locals won 3-0 with a double from Mercedes Pereyra and the same from Kimberlyn Campos.

Beyond the table and the history, among the most prominent names is Carolina Birizamberri - the top foreign scorer in Argentina -, who reached 102 official goals with River on the last date. Meanwhile, Banfield will once again rely on Tatiana Sarmiento, the team's most offensive contributor with one goal and three assists.
Racing dreams of the Apertura Tournament and Independiente fantasizes about ruining the title in the classic
Date 13 will close with one of the most anticipated matches. On Thursday, from 3:00 p.m., Independiente will host Racing at the Santo Domingo Complex for the Avellaneda classic, a duel that finds both teams going through completely opposite realities. The Academy shares the top of the Apertura Tournament with San Lorenzo thanks to its 29 points, while Rojo occupies 14th place with 10 points and needs to react to move away from the red zone.
Racing arrives strengthened after beating Huracán 2-0 with goals from Marleidy Cossio and Agostina Holzheier. The team led by Héctor Bracamonte left their draw against Belgrano behind them, achieving their fifth win in six games and keeping their dream of winning the first championship in their history intact. Independiente, on the other hand, fell 2-0 against San Lorenzo and is going through a very different moment: it has accumulated four consecutive defeats and was five points behind Newell's, the team that today marks the limit of the relegation places.

The record favors the Academia, which won four official classics while Independiente only achieved one victory, with 12 goals scored for the Acadómicas against 5 for the Diablas. However, the last two classics ended 1-1 and the most recent was played, coincidentally, in Villa Domínico. On the afternoon of April 25 of last year, on date 12 of the First 2025 Tournament, Nayla Gallo and Sindy Ramírez scored the tie.
The classic will also bring together several notable protagonists. Gabriela Herrera will once again face Independiente with the Racing shirt, while Cossio and Holzheier arrive as the Academy's top scorers with six goals each. On the local side, Gallo will seek to once again be decisive against the classic rival after having scored Rojo's last goal in this historic rivalry.

With three games left to say goodbye to the 2026 Apertura Tournament, the only two teams that maintain their mathematical chances of reaching Racing and San Lorenzo are River, six points from the lead, and Talleres, eight points below the top. For this reason, this day could cross out more contenders for the title, while Academicas and Santitas play for the championship day by day. Unión, last in the table, will want to upset Franco Bertera's team, but no tatengue desire would compare with the desire that Independiente will have to trip up its eternal classic.
