With the pass to the semifinals already confirmed, Argentina faces Ecuador for the last match of the group stage of the women's Copa América.
This Thursday at 9 p.m. (Argentina time) the Argentine National Team will face Ecuador in its last match in the group stage of the Copa América Femenina 2025, at the stadium in Independent of the Valley.
The Albiceleste already has a place in the semi-finals confirmed after having beaten Peru and accumulating three consecutive victories that left them in first place in the group A, however, they want to finish with an ideal score.
For that they will have a great challenge this Thursday when they meet Ecuador, host of the contest, which needs to win if or if they want to have the chance to go to semi-finals.

Argentina began its participation in this Copa América with a victory against Uruguay with a goal from Florencia Bon Segundo. In their second match they beat Chile with two goals, one from captain Aldana Cometti and another from Daiana Falfán, and in their last match, last Monday, it was Yamila Rodríguez who scored the winning goal and the classification.
This was to be expected, since in all its participations in the continental competition Argentina was never left out in the group stage.

For its part, Ecuador opened the tournament by tying with Uruguay 2-2, beat Peru 3-1 and lost on Monday to Chile, 2-1. Exactly in second place in the group table is the Trans-Andean National Team with 9 points and, behind, the Tricolor with 6.
From 2010 onwards, Argentina and Ecuador faced each other five times with two draws, two victories for Ecuador and one for the Albiceleste. Tomorrow the teams will face each other from 9:00 p.m. at the Banco Guayaquil Stadium and Argentina already knows that next week it will play the semifinal against Brazil, Colombia or Venezuela, depending on who qualifies second.
