The Argentine Under 20 National Team had a strong performance and beat Benin 8-0 for the second round of the U20 Women's World Cup in Poland. After the defeat against the host in the debut, the team led by Christian Meloni needed to add and responded with a win.

Argentina came out looking for the game from the beginning and found the opening of the scoring at 15 minutes, when Julia Vinhas appeared with a header to make it 1-0.
At 32', Mercedes Diz, River footballer, widened the difference for the Albiceleste. At the end of the first half, Annika Paz arrived, also with a header, scoring the third.
At the beginning of the second half Diz converted again at the beginning of the second half and made it 4-0. Annika Paz was the absolute protagonist, as she completed a poker to become one of the great figures of the day.
The 8-0 was made by Julieta Aguilar, who entered in the second half. With the final 8-0, Argentina got its first three points of the World Cup and arrives alive to the last date of Group A.
