After the match against Peru the Albiceleste will travel to Quito, where they will face Ecuador on Tuesday, June 9 at 8 p.m. (Argentina time), to close their participation in the Nations League.
Regarding qualification for the 2027 World Cup in Brazil, the teams that occupy the first two positions in the final classification table of the 2026 Nations League will secure their place. For their part, the teams that occupy the third and fourth positions in the table will qualify for the intercontinental playoff.
In that sense, the Argentine National Team is ranked first, with 14 points, like Colombia. In third place is Venezuela, with 11 units, and then Chile, with 10. One step further down, with eight points, is Ecuador and behind, with 7, are Paraguay and Peru. Uruguay appears in the last positions, with five points, and Bolivia closes, with only one unit.
