FIFA has set an official date for one of the most anticipated events in the run-up to the tenth edition of the World Cup: the draw for the group stage, which will take place on Friday, December 11, 2026.

The place chosen to assemble the tournament fixture will be the Museum of Modern Art (MAM) of Rio de Janeiro and, of course, representatives of the 32 qualified teams will be present to define how the groups for the maximum event will be assembled.
They estimate that the event will bring together more than a thousand guests including technical teams, leaders, authorities and legends of world football.

Once the draw ends that day in December, FIFA will publish the complete fixture with the venues for each crossing and the match times.
Brazil 2027 Women's World Cup Schedule
The dates of the 2027 Women's World Cup are confirmed: it will begin on June 24, with the opening match at the legendary Maracaná stadium, in Rio de Janeiro, and will end at the same stage on July 25.
The round of 16 will begin on Saturday, July 10, while the quarterfinals will have their first matches on the 16th.
For its part, the semifinals will be played on Tuesday, July 20 and Wednesday, July 21.
