Format of the South American Sub 20 Women 2026
The tournament will be played in two phases, both under the round-robin system, with a single wheel. In the Preliminary Phase (group phase) the ten teams participate, divided into two groups of five, and the first three from each zone qualify for the Final Phase.
For its part, the Final Phase will be made up of six teams that will play again all against all. The teams that remain in the top four places at the end of the competition will directly qualify for the 2026 U20 Women's World Cup.
