Argentina already knows its group for the Women's Under 20 World Cup in Poland 2026

The Argentine national team already knows its path in the 2026 U-20 Women's World Cup in Poland: the Albiceleste will be part of Group A.

The Argentine Women's Under 20 Team already has confirmed rivals for the 2026 World Cup which will be played in Poland from September 5 to 27.

After the draw carried out by FIFA, it was learned that the Albiceleste will be part of Group A along with the host of the tournament, Mexico and Benin. 

The competition will feature the participation of 24 teams divided into six groups of four teams each.

The two best teams from each zone and the four best third parties will advance to the knockout stage in search of the title defended by Korea DPR.

Argentina qualified for the 2026 U20 Women's World Cup in Poland thanks to its participation in the U20 South American Championship held in Paraguay, where it achieved a historic 2-1 victory against Brazil in the group stage and finished with an ideal score in its zone. 

In this competition the Argentine National Team finished among the four best teams and secured its place in Poland 2026 along with Brazil, Colombia and Ecuador.

This is how all the groups of the 2026 Under 20 Women's World Cup were:

Group A: Poland, Argentina, Mexico and Benin.

Group B: Brazil, England, Canada and Tanzania.

Group C: France, South Korea, Ghana and Ecuador.

Group D: Japan, United States, New Zealand and Italy.

Group E: North Korea, Colombia, Costa Rica and Portugal.

Group F: Spain, Nigeria, China and New Caledonia.

South America will have three representatives in this edition: Argentina, Brazil and Colombia. The Brazilian National Team will make up a very competitive group along with England and Canada, while Colombia will share the area with North Korea, one of the historical powers of the category.
