The third date of the Under 12 Women's Tournament came to an end with five games played. The day began with a goalless draw between Vélez and Racing, while Platense achieved a 1-0 victory against San Lorenzo.
Banfield was another of the teams that added three by winning 2-0 against Ferro Carril Oeste. In addition, River and Huracán tied 1-1, and Independiente closed the date with a 1-0 victory against UAI Urquiza. Boca had a free day.
In this first edition of the AFA Women's Under 12 Tournament, AMBA clubs participate and the matches are scheduled Monday and Tuesday, a decision designed so that the soccer players can continue with their school activities and, at the same time, compete.
The tournament is intended for players born in 2014, 2015 and 2016, with squads of between 20 and 30 players. The matches last 50 minutes, with 11 starting players and up to five substitutes.
