On Thursday, February 4 the South American Sub 20 Women's 2026 begins in Paraguay, a competition that grants four places to the 2026 World Cup, and we tell you everything you need to know to be able to follow it.
The competition, which will end on February 28, will feature the participation of the ten South American teams of the category and the first phase will be divided into two groups of five.
The Argentine Sub 20 Team will be part of Group B along with Brazil, Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia and will have its debut against the Ecuadorian team on Saturday the 7th. For its part, the classic against Verdeamarela will be on the last day of this first part.

Format of the South American Sub 20 Women 2026
The tournament will be played in two phases, both under the system of all against all, with a single wheel. In the Preliminary Phase (group phase) the ten teams participate, divided into two groups of five, and the first three from each zone qualify for the Final Phase.
For its part, the Final Phase will be made up of six teams that will play again all against all. The teams that are placed in the first four places at the end of the competition will directly qualify for the 2026 U20 Women's World Cup, which will be held from September 5 to 27 in Poland. left;">Group stage
